Aspects of the origins of WW1

Below is a list of relevant factors, concepts, people and events pertaining to the outbreak of WW1. You need to know the details and significance of each of these. Make flash cards, write them out or type them up in an Excel spread sheet.

Two sorting activities

Sorting activity 1:
Sort these factors, concepts, people, events into long term, short term, and immediate causes
Sorting activity 2:
Sort these factors, concepts, people, events into economical, ideological, political causes/factors

Note: Some of these aspects can obviously go in several categories, and some may not fit comfortably anywhere. You need to use your knowledge and link these aspects as best you can. Make sure that you are able to explain the historical significance of each entry.
